Licensed professional Counselor | Supervisor

Annette Kerr

I have been happily married for 17 years and we have two children.  I was a military spouse of 11 years of our marriage until my husband was medically discharged.  Our family chose to settle down in Texas in 2015.  My hobbies include crafting, mystery novels, music, movies, painting and family activities of all kinds.

I am a Christian and I am an active member of my church. I volunteer my time on a regular basis in order to not just go to church but to "be the church."  I believe true peace comes from a relationship with God but I am very respectful of other's beliefs. I understand that we all choose our own paths and a spiritual journey is a very personal choice.  I also understand that many people have been traumatized due to bad experiences with "religious" people and I do my best to help people see Jesus for who he really is.  I will incorporate a Christian or spiritual perspective into counseling only when my clients are comfortable with me doing so.
